If a voter is not able to show a required photo ID, the voter will be given the option to sign the Personal Affidavit. For more information go to IdahoVotes.gov.
Elections conduct Federal, State, County and Local Taxing Districts elections for Bannock County. The four (4) election dates per year are:
● 2nd Tuesday in March (School Bond or Levy)
● 3rd Tuesday in May (Primary Election and/or Taxing
Districts Elections)
● Last Tuesday in August (School Bond or Levy)
● Tuesday following first Monday in November
(General Election and/or Taxing District Election)
The Elections Office produces poll books and voter lists. Precinct Maps and Commissioner District maps are also available. The Election Office maintains an up-to-date list of registered voters, as well as voting history. This information is available in hard copy, as well as on CD-ROM.
Candidates filing for County office do so in the Elections Office, as well as file financial disclosure reports there.
ABSENTEE/WALK-IN VOTING
Absentee Voting will be offered in the Bannock County Courthouse Room 101. 30 Days Before any Election. Room 101 is located on the ground floor of the Courthouse, first door on the right when entering the building through the East side entrance ramp.
The hours of operation are Monday – Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm.
Just a reminder, all wishing to vote Absentee will be required to go through the courthouse security metal detectors.
