Escape Plan Check List

1. Hide an extra set of keys.
2. Have ready in one place identification papers and other misc. papers.
3. Know your house exits...How to get out...Which direction to go...Which door or window to use.
4. Plan where you will go, how to get there.
5. Memorize emergency phone numbers.
6. Try to pre-determine what your attitude needs to be in order to get to safety (plan ahead, think clearly).
7. Hide a set of clothes not in an obvious place.
8. Plan ahead for a sudden explosion, for your sake and for your kids.
9. If appropriate, discuss plan with the kids, what they should do.
10. Call Mercy House or other resource agencies for assistance, support, etc.
