Mark
Hiedeman, Bannock County Prosecuting Attorney
Mr. Hiedeman has
been the
elected Prosecuting Attorney for Bannock County since 1992. He was
raised in Idaho and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1966.
After he joined the United States Navy, where he was awarded the Navy
Life
Saving Medal for his actions in saving a woman being swept to sea off
a beach in Hawaii. He
later
graduated in 1976 from the University of Idaho. He went on to
graduate from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1985 with
a Juris Doctorate degree. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar and
is licensed to practice law in United States District Court for the
District of Idaho since 1985 and served as Chief Criminal Deputy
Prosecutor for Larry Echohawk from 1988 until 1992. He was a founding
member
of the Bannock County Multi-Agency DUI Task Force and has served as
President
of the Bannock County Inter-Agency Child Abuse Task Force and the Idaho
Prosecuting Attorney's Association.

Vic
Pearson, Chief Deputy Attorney
Mr. Pearson was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho and he received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Idaho State University in
1997. He received his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law in
2001. Mr. Pearson is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is licensed to practice
in all Idaho courts. Mr. Pearson began his legal career as a law clerk in the
Sixth Judicial District for the Honorable Peter D. McDermott. Thereafter, he
obtained civil litigation experience while working in private practice in Boise,
Idaho. Mr. Pearson began working for the Bannock County Prosecutors in February
of 2003 and began serving as Mr. Hiedeman’s Chief Deputy in May 2006.

Cleve Colson, Assistant Chief Deputy Attorney
Mr. Colson was born and raised in Idaho. He attended Montana
State University horseshoeing school at Montana State University, which he
completed 1998 and became certified with the American Farrier's Association. He
then attended Idaho State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in
History in 2002. He received the degree of Juris Doctor from the University of
Idaho in 2005 and is a member of the Idaho State Bar. Mr. Colson has been an
attorney with the Bannock County Prosecutor's Office since May of 2005.

Zachary
G. Parris, Deputy Attorney
Mr. Parris was born
and
raised in Pocatello, graduating from Highland High School. He operated
a contracting business for two years and subsequently worked for Union
Pacific Railroad for 19 years as a conductor. While working for Union
Pacific, Mr.
Parris obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics from Idaho State
University, graduating with honors in 1997. He then completed his
law degree at the University of Idaho in 2000. Mr. Parris returned to
Pocatello and practiced law at the Public Defender's Office for over a
year before leaving to work in a private law firm. Mr. Parris joined
the
Bannock County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in 2003. Mr. Parris is
married with two children and resides in the Pocatello area.

Ken Webster, Deputy Attorney
Mr. Webster grew up in Eastern Idaho and graduated from Boise State University
in 2001 with a Bachelor degree in Political Science. After spending 2 years
working in Washington D.C., Mr. Webster returned home to Idaho and graduated
from the University of Idaho School of Law in 2006. Mr. Webster joined the
office in May of 2006. He is a member of both the Idaho and Federal Bar.

Ian N. Service, Deputy Prosecutor
Mr. Service has been a Deputy Prosecutor in Bannock County since August 2009. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and grew up in Tempe, Arizona. He attended Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, AZ where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. Mr. Service received his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan, in 2007. While attending law school, Mr. Service enjoyed Mock Trial and Moot Court classes and competitions. In a large school-wide Moot Court competition, his team placed third overall, and he was awarded Seventh Best Advocate in the competition. Mr. Service began his legal career as an Extern–Judicial Law Clerk in the United States District Court of Idaho for the Honorable B. Lynn Winmill. Mr. Service spent nearly two years as a Twin Falls County Deputy Public Defender before accepting - and enjoying - his current opportunity with Bannock County. He is licensed to practice before all Idaho and Federal Courts.

Ryan K. Godfrey, Deputy Attorney
Mr. Godfrey was raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and received his Bachelor's
degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University in 1999. He also earned a minor
in Criminology from BYU. Mr. Godfrey's law enforcement career began working for
a private multi-national corporation as an executive security/personal
protection officer. Mr. Godfrey returned to school and obtained his law degree
from Valparaiso University School of Law. He obtained civil litigation
experience while clerking for a private practice firm in Northwest Indiana for
two years. Mr. Godfrey began working as a Deputy Prosecutor with the Bannock
County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in May of 2007.

JaNiece Price, Deputy Attorney
Ms. Price was born in American Falls, Idaho, and lived there for the first two
years of her life. Her family then moved to Big Piney, Wyoming, where she was
raised on a cattle ranch. Ms. Price received her undergraduate degree in
Political Science from Utah State University and then obtained her law degree at
the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2004. Ms. Price began her legal
career as a paralegal at a personal injury firm while attending law school at
night. After passing the Colorado Bar, she practiced Family Law and Estate
Planning Law in Colorado before being admitted to practice in Idaho and joining
the Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office in April 2006.

Jared Johnson, Deputy Attorney
Mr. Johnson was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He graduated from
Highland High School and went on to complete his undergraduate work at Idaho
State University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and
Rhetorical Studies. Mr. Johnson earned his law degree from the University of
Idaho, College of Law in May of 2007 and has been a Deputy Prosecutor for
Bannock County since that time.
