Vickie Rice, Victim Witness Coordinator
Ms. Rice is a life-long resident of Pocatello. After high
school graduation she worked for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in
the Public Assistance Department while attending Idaho State University and
starting a family. Worked as a personnel assistant for Kraft Foods for fifteen
years. In April 1993, joining the Prosecutor's Office as a receptionist /legal
assistant, and in May 1994, she became the Victim/Witness Coordinator. She has
completed extensive hours of training in sexual assault, child abuse, domestic
violence and working with victims of crime, becoming one of the first
Professional Credentialed Advocates in Idaho.
She is a founding member of the Multi-Agency Domestic Violence and Sexual
Assault Task Force, as well as a Board Member of Bright Tomorrows Child Advocacy
Center. She is President of the Idaho Victim Witness Association, a member of
National Victim Witness Association, and a member of the National Center of
Victims of Crime. Her responsibility as a Victim/Witness Coordinator is to
ensure that the victims feel safe, understand the court process, and is
available to answer any questions regarding cases and making sure they are well
prepared to testify in court hearings.

Jean Hobson, Lead Legal Assistant
I have been employed with the Bannock County Prosecutor's Office since
February 1991. My higher education began in Portland, Oregon at Columbia
Christian College where I received an Associate Degree in 1978. I also
attended the College of Southern Idaho and received technical certificates in
Secretarial and Bookkeeping and an Associate of Applied Science in Bookkeeping.
My legal experience began in 1987 with the Jerome County Prosecutor’s office. I
work with Chief Deputy Pearson on the adult sex offense case load. This job and
my co-workers are very important and I appreciate them greatly.

Janene Fox, Legal Assistant
Ms. Fox has been working for the Bannock County Prosecutor's Office since
2000. Prior to that, she worked for Thompson Creek Mining Company located in
Clayton, Idaho as a Human Resource Assistant. She was certified as a medical
secretary after graduating from the Eastern Idaho Technical College. Afterwards,
she volunteered as an EMT for Thompson Creek Mining as well as the local
community. Ms. Fox has two adult children.
